Atlantis Coolcut M114

Atlantis Coolcut M114

Product Description

Atlantis Coolcut M114 is formulated from leading edge base oils, additives and proprietary emulsifiers which have a bearing on the stability of the emulsion even with water of 400 ppm hardness. A stable milky white emulsion is prepared by adding the oil to water with continuous stirring. Atlantis Coolcut M114 gives the desired cooling characteristics, provides rust protection and lubricity for the cutting operation with good finish of work piece and longer life for tools. Atlantis Coolcut M114 is also fortified with appropriate biocides to keep control of bacterial growth.

Application

Atlantis Coolcut M114 is recommended for a variety of cutting operations in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The recommended concentration is between 2 to 10% depending on the severity of machining. Atlantis Coolcut M114 meets IS 1115-1986 (RA 2002).

Advantages

  1. Good heat removal properties.
  2. Good surface finish.
  3. Excellent emulsion stability.
  4. Built-in protection against bacterial growth.

Caution: Not recommended for machining of magnesium, as fine chips of magnesium are a fire hazard when moistened with water.

Atlantis Coolcut SS09

Atlantis Coolcut SS09

Product Description

Atlantis Coolcut SS09 is a long life semi-synthetic water soluble metalworking fluid, suitable for all moderate to heavy machining and grinding operations on all ferrous metals and their alloys. It forms a translucent micro-emulsion and has a unique formula with high performance extreme pressure additives, corrosion inhibitor packages and biocides which prevent bacterial & fungal attack and provide long life. It works very well in general machining and especially grinding of cast iron, grey iron, steel and its alloys where conventional soluble oil may not deliver adequate performance.

Application

Atlantis Coolcut SS09 is a high performance translucent semi synthetic metalworking fluid, suitable for grinding and moderate to heavy cutting, milling, drilling, tapping and reaming applications of cast iron, steel and its alloys. Atlantis Coolcut-SS meets IS 1115-1986 (RA 2013).

Advantages

  1. Provides excellent lubricity.
  2. Allows high pump pressures and helps maintain a continuous oil film between moving parts.
  3. Provides excellent load bearing capability and protection to tools along with superior surface finish.
  4. Good rust protection for machine tools and work pieces.
  5. Fortified with biocide to inhibit bacterial growth and odor.
  6. Extends tool life.
  7. Extraordinary surface finish.
  8. Excellent rust preventive properties.
